Micromax to Preload BBM app on Micromax Canvas Smartphone Series

BlackBerry few days back announced that BBM will be soon available on iOS and android platform. The app was set to be launched on 21st or 22nd September 2013. Micromax made a separate page on their official site few days back stating – Scratching your head over Ping Ping? So today we got to know that Micromax was talking about BBM app which will be soon available as a per-installed app on all of the canvas devices. As we all know that Micromax currently offers around 5-6 per-installed apps and now BBM will be one of them.



This also marks the end of Micromax own app Hookup! which is also preloaded in the Micromax smartphones. Micromax currently holds the same amount of shares as Samsung do so BBM will get quite good amount of users here in India alone through Micromax mobiles. Not to forget BBM was one of the most popular IM way back when few IM apps were available. With the intervention of apps like whatsapp, Viber, BBM started losing its shine but it is still in the market with good response.
